Rise ....Yet again??

Wow, ok....for those of you who actually read my blog, I am terribly sorry for the lack of updates! Ok, maybe thats an understatement since I haven't updated it in ALMOST A YEAR!!! I could give tons of reasons for not doing so: Been busy, no time, not inspired etc, but fact is, it was pure laziness! I know I know, you're thinking, "why the heck should i read this fella's blog if he's not gonna do anything!!" You know what, I TOTALLY understand, I'd say the same thing if I was reading my blog.

Its so frightening to see my last post was bout hosting on TBS for Raya and Raya this year is just around the corner. Thankfully we don't have to work during the first and second day of Raya this round, phew!

Anyway, back to the rise from the dead again scenario ( I'm quite sure this is not the first time I'm trying to resuscitate my blog), I assure you, I'm trying to eliminate the laziness factor out of the equation and start getting my act together with this blog thing. I've got lots on my mind lately and I think its time to, how should i put it, "let the juices flow"? That should be good motivation for me to actually spit it all out on the web for everyone and anyone to read it, no?

Wish me luck and do check in once in awhile ;)

City of Blinding Lights.......

Its been such a busy month! I can't believe the amount of stuff happening in KL, it really feels like the city is alive!

This year's raya was a very different experience for me: Yes, I had to work. But it was great coz I got to share it with so many people.
I got to wear the full on raya outfit man, fuyoh!

November is just around the corner and its quite worrying: Well, Daphne is giving birth this month so she'll be on her maternity leave, but we still haven't found a host to fill in for her. We've auditioned a ton of people but still no word yet from the bosses. On top of that, Naz has so much going on that I'll be covering his ass for most part of November. Aiyayai....You'll be seeing me alot more on TBS this month....Hope you don't get sick of me. :p

Oh, also....Do look out for the weekend STAR paper in the next 2 to 3 weeks. I'm actually featured in the sunday metro section. Basically, a reporter followed me for a day to see how I spend my typical weekend. It was a lot of fun!

On to more interesting stuff, the outlets at Pavilion and Gardens are launching one after another. One of the highlights for me was the LaBodega launch. I'm a big fan of the place and the food they serve is just amazing. Gotta love the big breakfast!

Oooo, Global Gathering is bout to start in a couple of hours.....I better go get ready to PARTAYYY like ....well, I would love to party like a rockstar....But I ain't got no groupies :(

Will keep ya posted.

shoppingmania!

Man, I can't believe the number of new malls have popped up this month. Pavilion, The Gardens and the new section of Sunway Pyramid have all opened up their doors to the public. Its kinda crazy because we already have quite alot of malls to start with. I do feel M'sians are becoming one brand-obsessed, bargain hunting, shopping-crazed nation.

I guess its not THAT bad, i mean, it still helps out with the economy and thats always a good thing.

Well, I had a few fashion shows to do for the opening of Pavilion. I've been focusing so much on the Breakfast Show and emceeing gigs, i felt a little odd and kinda rusty on the catwalk. Luckily for me, I managed to not fall flat and make a fool outta myself.

This was the Parkson opening launch which happened before the official opening of Pavilion

They got Tata Young (Is that how her name is spelled?) to sing 8 songs!

This was the actual Pavilion Opening show which I was modeling for. The very gorgeous Marion was emceeing that night.

Backstage with some of the other models....They had to do a "showgirl" dance, which was very cool. Thomas Pink shirts(the one i'm wearing) rock but hella expensive!

Behind the scenes

Last week, we had the gorgeous Carmen Soo and the fabulous designer, Sonny San drop by the studio for an interview session. They were on set to talk about Eclipse' collaboration with Carmen for the Fall/Winter 2007 campaign. The collection looks great and I'm sure alot of women out there are probably buying their hearts out, if they haven't done so already.

Also, on set was Malaysia's top national cyclist, Josiah Ng. He's a pretty cool guy. Our hopes are with you Josiah, lead us to Beijing '08!

Rise from the dead......

WASSSSAAAAAA.........Well,some of you (that somehow managed to find my blog and ACTUALLY takes the time to read it) might be wondering where da hell have I been. Lets just say there are too many different answers for just a simple question. Ok, so I haven't blogged for awhile. Blow me.... No, forget that I said that.

Now that I have risen from the ashes (minus the beard and the white robe that is), I bear gifts. Well, more like stuff......WELLL, more like useless updates on my so-called life. Still interested? The exit is down on your right. If you hurry u might still catch the last shuttle out of this shit hole ;)

Well, lets start with Merdeka.....Ah yes, it felt like it was only yesterday when I had the gracious opportunity to wake up at 4am and head over to Dataran Merdeka for the dry run AND the actual parade itself. (Naz says its good training.....If you can wake up that is)

In a nutshell, it was rather fun. Never actually been to one of these national parades before, and on my first time, I get to do it live on national TV, SWEET!

All I can say is.....Don't F&*k with us Bitchaz!

So then all the days went by in a blur.....and next thing I know, it was Urban Live AGAIN~ Well, this round was a little extra special coz it fell on my birthday weekend. Needless to say, these guys (Yes, I mean you JP!) took full advantage of me and whored me out on stage to get the crowd's attention.

I got tricked into thinking that I was gonna get some sexy lap dance by some hot actresses, but in fact, I got an entire DIFFERENT kind of treatment which the mental images will torment me for the rest of my life :'{

But, it was sweet when everyone, including the audience, sang happy birthday not once, but twice in a day with a slice of birthday cake with a candle on top. That was nice......

Seriously, I can understand that JP likes it....Didn't know u were a fan too, Choy. LOL!

Mr. JP managed to redeem himself by presenting me a sweeet gift...that allowed me to take these crazy photos.....LOVE YA BUDDY!

Phew, now I can start putting up some more CURRENT stuff.....
